Cold Weather Alert
An Amber Cold Health Alert has been issued from 8pm on 28 December 2025 until 12pm on 5 January 2026. Temperatures are expected to drop significantly, with daytime temperatures as low as 3 to 5°C and overnight lows potentially reaching –3°C.
How you can stay safe
- Keep your home heated to at least 18°C where possible.
- Check on elderly or vulnerable friends, family, and neighbours.
- Wear several light layers to stay warm and dry.
- Seek medical advice promptly if you feel unwell, cold weather can worsen respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
Our practice will continue to operate as normal, but please be mindful that demand may be higher than usual during this period.
